If you’ve ever exited the bus (and now light rail) tunnel at the south end of the Pioneer Square station, you’ve been to Prefontaine Place. It’s not named after the famous runner, but instead the founder of the first Catholic Church in the area.
The main feature of this park is a fountain, although I’ve never seen it with water in it. The park looks across at the larger City Hall Park.
