I love the entrance to this park with stairs that spill down the corner inviting you in to explore the native plants and trees that line the paths. This north Seattle park used to be an apple orchard. Today you’ll still find fruit trees, as well as a busy neighborhood p-patch. Most of the park sits at a higher elevation than the street, so there’s a cozy sense of privacy for a picnic on the grass lawn or some quiet time with a book on one of the park benches.
