Start at the top of Mount Baker Park and follow the quiet wooded trails down to the waterfront and Lake Washington Boulevard.
You’ll pass tennis courts and a playground that includes a cool zip line I was secretly dying to try. From the water, you can either hang out on the beach that is guarded in the summer or walk either north or south along the Boulevard. This is one of my favorite places to walk with views of the Cascades and Lake Washington the whole way.
The pier is also a nice fishing spot. Mount Baker Park has been a popular beachfront park since the 1920s.
