I’ve checked out a lot of greenspaces over the past year and decided to take most of them off my list for this blog. I want to focus on parks that are accessible and usable as a park space.
So, I was surprised when I discovered that Longfellow Creek Greenspace in West Seattle is really accessible. The creek (one of the four biggest in Seattle) and surrounding area covers a huge area of 34 total acres and includes miles of narrow walking trails allowing visitors to tread gently, but still enjoy this wetland area.
Here’s a map of part of this park. Frequent work parties help keep the trails looking great.
