In 1912 the Puget Mill Company donated land to the city to create this park that helps preserve part of a precious creek in West Seattle. What this also created was a link to what’s now the Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail, one of the best places to walk in West Seattle.
The trail follows more than three miles of this creek and teems with wildlife. If you’re craving a quiet forest walk, you can find it without even leaving the city. Follow your route using this great map of the Legacy Trail.
