If you’ve walked along Lake Washington Boulevard, you’ve probably passed Lakewood Moorage thinking it’s a private dock. It’s actually officially city property, although slips are rented through a private company, and public access is limited to certain hours and days of the week.
But, this is a nice place to pause on a walk because the views are lovely. On the day I visited lily pads dotted the water, and I could take in a beautiful late fall scene with changing leaves on the trees that line the boulevard south of this park.
