Formerly called Elliott Bay Park, Centennial Park on the Seattle waterfront and is often confused with Myrtle Edwards Park because it sits adjacent to it to the north. This park is not an official City of Seattle Park, but is one of several parks owned and maintained by the Port of Seattle.
All you really need to know is that this is a great place to take in views of the islands, Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains while getting a little exercise on a flat, easy path.
You’ll also find exercise stations, a rose garden and a fishing pier. Kids like watching the operation of the grain terminal and trying to spot bald eagles.
