Location: West Seattle
Address: 1001 Klickitat Way S.W.
Acreage: 1.2

I love the location of this Port of Seattle park between West Seattle and SODO. If you’ve crossed the West Seattle bridge and wondered about the small peninsula in the Duwamish River that looks like half a circle lined with pleasure boats, Terminal 102 Park is a good reason to stop and check it out.

It’s not a simple task to get to this park from either West Seattle or downtown. It involves a little roundabout route that ducks you under the West Seattle bridge. If you want to leave your car behind, you can walk or bike from West Seattle fairly easily.

Wander the 600 feet of shoreline along the paved pathway and admire the boats or have a picnic on one of the picnic tables or small lawn areas.

It was fun to celebrate the 400 mark in this project by visiting this park that I had always been curious about. Stay tuned for a few more little-known Port of Seattle parks.
