Circling the top of Queen Anne is a popular route for Seattle walkers and runners. One of my favorite places to stop en route is at the Betty Bowen Viewpoint, just a little west of Kerry Park along Highland Park Drive.
While Kerry Park gives you views of downtown Seattle, this little spot is the place to take in the islands and Olympic mountains, especially on a clear day. You can also see Magnolia, Interbay and parts of the Seattle waterfront.
The park’s three benches are the perfect excuse to halt your workout and stop to enjoy the view.
