For being a small park with not much more than a couple of benches, Viretta Park gets a surprising number of visitors. Why? It’s next door to a famous Seattle house: the former home of the late Kurt Cobain.
On my visit, three fans were visiting to take pictures and pay homage. A bench was covered in notes and Cobain memorabilia from previous visitors.
Whether you’re a fan or not, Viretta Park is a nice place to stop and enjoy a quiet moment.
