This boat landing was opened in the 1920s as a landing for ferries and other large ships. The posts still visible in the water indicate where the pier used to stand. The sign itself is a cool relic of Seattle’s past.
Boats don’t land here any longer, but you can pause on your waterfront stroll to enjoy this historic site and the gorgeous view of the Puget Sound and Olympics.
The National Park Service has some great information on the history of this Landing.
