Enter Madrona Playground at the corner of E. Spring St. and 34th Ave. The nicely terraced and carefully planted entrance sets the tone for this well-maintained neighborhood playground.
In addition to a great ADA-friendly play area, you’ll find a soccer field, lighted tennis courts and a full basketball court. The park is rimmed with plants and small trees.
Here’s a tidbit of the park’s history from the city’s Web site: Madrona Playground had the city’s first concrete tennis courts, built in 1930.
