Dr. Jose Rizal Park, named after an international hero of the Filipino community, is tucked into the northwest corner of Beacon Hill. This means you’re in for a treat when you arrive and see the fabulous views of the Olympics, Puget Sound and downtown Seattle, including our two sports stadiums.
A small amphitheater and picnic tables make this park a great gathering place for community groups, such as Seattle’s Filipino community, which uses it often for celebrations. There’s also a little play area.
If you’re a dog owner, take your pet for a hike on the off-leash trails. The entrance is located at the north end of the park.
