Sitting between two older homes in Ballard, from the sidewalk Thyme Patch Park looks like someone’s front yard. Take the winding, fully accessible path into the park and you’ll find a neighborhood P-Patch.
The front section is a Master Gardener demonstration garden. The back features 15 plots for rent from the city as part of its P-Patch program.
My favorite spot is the small circular patio set among the flowering trees and shrubs that would be a perfect place for a picnic.
