This is a great place to pause on a walk of the Mount Baker neighborhood to get a view of Lake Washington. Take a seat on one of the wooden benches that line this park’s small pathway and catch your breath before taking on the steep hill that leads from Lake Washington Boulevard to the top of the hill.

Oh my goodness – just got your comment on our Seattle Stairways Blog and checked yours out. This is a REAL challenge but it sounds like immense fun too, especially with your child. We’ll keep checking it out – you publish a lot more often than we are able to! Very interesting content.
BTW there’s a Puget Sound nonprofit called Feet First that might be interested in what you’re doing – their mission is to promote “pedestrianism.” Have you heard of it? The Executive Director is Lisa Quinn and you can find the website readily on google.
Best Wishes
