Volunteers were putting finishing touches on the p-patch on the sunny day I visited Summit Slope Park. The design and landscaping of this Capitol Hill park are really nicely done with a terraced lawn and careful plantings.
I was also happy to see that planners put in a skate feature and a barbecue grill.
This park was originally supposed to be named after Seattle’s Italian sister city Perugia, but was renamed after recent controversy.
