I love Seattle’s neighborhood “mini parks.” They seem to get plenty of use and usually boast of not much more than a few benches, some tall trees and a play area.
Unfortunately, it’s a miserable drizzly day when I visited Spruce Street Mini Park, but I imagine that with a bit fairer weather this Central Area park must get lots of visits.
In late fall, this park is gorgeous with its huge trees shedding leaves all over the grass and sidewalk, inviting little hands to scoop them up and toss them into the air.
