Here’s a fun, “who knew?” The city of Seattle has two parks that are actually in the water, both just offshore in Magnolia. Part of my goal of this blog project is to stand inside every park in Seattle, but since I’m boatless I had to settle for taking a photo from the shore.
Off Smith Cove and near the Elliott Bay Marina is where Open Water Park has been designated a city park. If any of you have explored this area by kayak or diving, please fill me in on the details.

Awesome post! I believe that water parks are one of the best indoor activities for toddlers, I know my little one had a blast when I took him earlier this year. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Having two parks in Magnolia,great!
