About a third of a mile south of the Fauntleroy Ferry Dock in West Seattle is one of the best waterfront street ends I’ve found so far.
Follow what looks like a driveway and you’ll soon spot the “shore view” sign indicating it’s for public access. Now you’re on your own private beach tucked among million dollar homes with great views of Vashon and Blake Islands.
This is a fun spot for kids to play on the beach and watch the ferries coming and going. You may need to remind kids (and dogs) that the beach is private property to the immediate north and south of this narrow park.
This park would be a wonderful place for a picnic or to launch a kayak.
